Aubry's visit: friday: maymont

Holy cow what a weekend! I'm still a bit groggy (from the minuscule amount of sleep I've had this week and a few headaches) but after bumming around most of Monday I’m recovering nicely.

Friday girliegirl32786, sadievale and I spent the day site-seeing in Richmond. We went to Maymont, one of my favorite spots. We had a leisurely picnic up on one of the hills near the house (the trudge up there was well worth the breeze while we ate!). We spread out our blanket, then our feast and proceeded to nibble, giggle and to simply enjoy the nice summer's day.

The weekend was a nice little appetizer of CC and a good dose of inspiration and encouragement. I'm all motivated to finish up my costumes now - yay! Thanks again bauhausfrau for hosting this event - I can't wait for the next one! :>
