pockets, pleats & pinched nerves

Proof I have actually been sewing… just not posting. :P The long promised pocket pics. Haven’t gotten much more done on this since the pics were taken. Been spending my embroidery time on the Federalist gown. *moo* Oh and what is left of the Greensleeves frock. *sniff*

I worked on the Federalist gown this weekend. I put the sleeves in slightly off and I’m trying to decide if it bothers me enough to take them out and redo them. *ponders* Still working on the embroidery but it’s almost done. At least the top part I have to get done before I can put the skirts together.

Yesterday I slept wrong and ended up with a pinched nerve in my shoulder blade area. Needless to say I did not have a stellar day and felt like doing nothing all day. I did manage to finish the pleating (only did each side about 4 times - kept doing it backwards) and attached the skirt on my red print English gown. Why I put myself through the hassle just for the tiny little pleats I don't know. Proof once again that I need professional help I guess. A hem, sleeves and some hooks and eyes and I can wear it to the event tomorrow. Don’t know if I’ll get to it or not. Just not feeling motivated about it, can you tell?
I’m feeling much better today. One night’s sleep to whack my shoulder out and one night’s sleep to put it back. The question that comes to mind is “why”. *shakes head*
