Aubry's visit: thursday: sewing

Aubry's here - yay! She arrived last night to find sadievale and I finishing up S's English gown. What should have been a quick job of hems and hat triming turned out to be a long night of demon petticoats. We had much tea and good company however so it was fun. We got it all done (well in wearable condition anyway), it just made for a late night.

Today we are off for a day of picnicing, site-seeing and other frivolities in Richmond - I love mini vacations!
