True! We live in a world of "experts" and "professionals". The little secret is that sometimes the experts have no idea what they are talking about. :>

I think this has become my favorite soapbox to seamstresses - learn to think outside the box and just play around with the fabric! Better results and it's much more fun. Love that it's more period accurate too! :>
