Costume College pics
I took (well kept) 651 pics this year. Whew. What kills me is how many pics of costumes around me I didn't get. I was looking through the pics of others this morning going, oh my gosh she was sitting right next to me and I didn't take any pics of her frock! Opps! I think there was a little "overwhelmed with the pretties" going on.
Anyway I've combed them down to my favorite 400 to post. Well some of my favorites I can't post because I've been threatened with death if I do. All I have to say is: BROWNIES! *hee hee*

Oh and feel free to snag any CC pic you want for whatever use, credit not neccessary. If you need a hi-rez version of something just let me know!
My CC '08 line up!
Black Striped Jacket, AKA the *secret* project - I couldn't be more pleased with the way it came out. Originally I was bummed I didn't have time for a matching Gainsbourgh hat but I think I like the mini tricorn better. It was certainly fun to wear and I giggle inside at the fact it doesn't match. :> The posts on this project are now unlocked (and will be on my website soon) if you want to see how I did it.
Sparkle Regency - Otherwise known as the under dress to my Bee Robe. I adore this dress and it was a fun excuse to wear it again!
Cross-over Regency - Again I couldn't be more pleased with this outfit. It was comfy and pretty - I didn't really want to take it off! The velvet trim was just the right touch, if I do say so myself. And wow a Regency dress I can get into all by myself, how cool is that?!!
And my new hat! Yes, I splurged on one of Mela's creations. The price really wasn't that bad so it was my retail therapy for not getting into her class and for the bonnet disaster I had the week before CC. Another thing I didn't want to take off!
Pearl Dress - I wasn’t 100% pleased with this in the end but over the weekend I figured out how to tweak it so I will be. Having said that it was great fun to wear and I certainty felt like a pretty, pretty princess in it! I think I'm most proud of having actually finished it on time, *almost* by myself (thanks Mommy & Linda!) and not giving up on it despite the physical and deadline challenges I had. I did approx 75 of the 120 total man-hours of embellishment on the gown in 4 weeks. I still don't know how I did that! My favorite compliment of the gala was "that is
koshka_the_cat level sickness". *LOL*
Coaching Day Outfit - Another fun outfit I was excited to get to wear again. Of course I had to wear my warmest outfit on the hottest day but the reaction to it (especially to Fred) was well worth it. I love how the outfit went with my new hat as well!
Overall this is my favorite CC wardrobe. Everything was lovely, comfy (except for the hot thing) and were things I was very proud to say I'd made. It doesn't get any better than that. :>

Personal fav- undressing the poor pregnant woman! It was neat to see what she had on under there, and that her petticoat no longer fit and was pinned to her gestation corset!! LOL!

I know poor Sara, she was so ready to get out of the warm wrapper. We took pics and she stripped right there and then! I thought that was great that she had to pin on the hoop too, so glad I got a pic of that. :>
