So no new outfit for the RCHS party tonight.
It was a valiant effort though. All I need is a hem on the petticoat and some hooks and eyes on the jacket and it's in wearable condition. I could sew myself in but because of the nature of the fabric (sheets = tight weave = pain to sew), I don't really want too. Also it's all sans ruffles and trimming and what is the fun of that?
Finial nail in the coffin? My tummy is a little upset and I don't have to lace tight for the chemise gown so รก la Reine it is. I have to stop sewing to go iron and do hair. I'm not sure how much dancing I'll be doing if my tummy doesn't start to behave...
