I didn't quite catch the topic -- crewelwork embroidery? That's what it sounded like. I'd briefly summarize what you've studied on the topic & what you've made, including a link to your website project page(s), if available. No need to write an essay (they have a lot of papers to go thru ;-), but highlight the key points & provide any examples you can. Also mention any teaching / mentoring / coaching experience. Costuming-related is great, but it doesn't have to be. Mary Kay, church, volunteer groups, anything that shows you've spoken in front of a group w/an organized presentation is useful, imo. HTH!
