Bayeux Tapestry in action

So stinking cool.
Where was this when I was studying this stuff?
I particually like the hints of Rohan in the soundtrack. :>

Somehow I missed that - had to watch it a second time. It was cute though! :>

How fun! Thanks for sharing it!
I *think* the music is from "Requiem for a Dream".

Part of the music was from Jupiter, from the Planets Suite.

and from the Gladiator soundtrack... and the battle sound effects were from Warcraft II. :)

That was really cool. I wish learning history had been this much fun when I was in school.
Do you know, I know more history now, with researching all the different eras of fashion and timeline, than I ever learned in school? Too bad teachers never caught onto teaching a different way.

I completely agree. I had a history teacher in college that totally *got* the concept that history is just stories about people and places... and he taught it that way. It was so interesting and I was hooked. I have contemplated a career change someday to be a history teacher. That would be the way I would teach.

Well I was lucky being homeschooled. My mom loves history and worked very hard to make it fun and interesting. This is the sort of thing she would love and have used. I was very spoiled. :>

that's so cool! way cooler than reading the silly wall descriptions that hang witht the tapastry. and the sound editing was amazing!
