end of a long week

Wow, this has been a bit of an expensive day. I ordered all my tambour supplies (and a few other things) from Lacis so they are on their way. Costume College class supplies - check!

I also ordered a pattern for my newest project. The first pattern I've bought in a long time. I'm already feeling guilty but after last weekend I must admit my confidence is a little shaken. I don't know how I'm going to finish everything in time so I'm insane to add another project but I *need* something fun for the Tea on Sunday. If I don't use this uber perfect fabric (for the theme) I will really regret it later.

More on this project when I actually start it. If the pattern arrives soon enough I may work on it before dealing with the Bee again. I think I need to walk away from the Bee for a little while, I'm feeling burned out at the very thought of Regency. *sigh*

Give the Bee dress a rest if you need it and don't feel guilty about it . Better to come back later when you're less frustrated and buzzing with energy again. Pun unintentional, I only just realised what I said. Doh!

And no guilt over the pattern either. You need something to build up your confidence again and being able to just cut and sew something will give you that boost.

Yeah, that was B's advice to me on the pattern too. A finished dress would definitely be a boost to my confidence at this point, pattern or no. (Not that I'm planning on using the pattern completely as is or anything *rolls eyes*). Thanks!

I can't use patterns as they are either. The simplest project always ends up a major event! I just cant stop twiddling with them.

Love the icon! It's so me, all I do here is whine! You would not believe how different I am if you met me. I get rid of all my rants on LJ. Saves having them AT anyone later ;)
