CC here I come!

I've been rather silent on the subject because I've spent the spring debating back and forth whether I would go or not. There are lots of reasons I won't go into here, but one of the main reasons is I really want to get to London next year. I figure if I really MUST turn 30 in 2009 I should be in London for the occasion. :>
I also have a trip to NYC this September. Dad has a business conference so can anyone say free hotel in downtown Manhattan? Far too good to pass up.
So lots going on and choices needing to be made. I decided about 2 weeks ago that yes CC is where I'm supposed to be this summer. I just need work my MK a little harder, maybe not go to dinner quite so much and behave myself in the fabric district. Every time I go shopping now I think "Costume College and London". It does wonders for my impulsive buying streak. :>
Luckily I went ahead and signed up for limited classes (just in case). I've spent the last two weeks looking at flights and trying to figure out what I'll be wearing. This whole pay for your second bag and everything has to be under 50lbs is seriously cramping my style! Two of the outfits I wanted to wear I may skip just because of packing issues. Neither is finished so it’s a time issue as well. So CC may or may not see the Poe and Black-n-White Bustle. I'm thinking of saving them for Costume Con next year when I don’t have to fly...
The rest is really up in the air, mostly due to me being indecisive. I also am trying hard to pace myself and not end up a crazed and sleepless seamstress in July. I’m not in the mood, even if it means wearing something “old”. I want to have fun at CC, not be sleep deprived and sewing there. Definitely on the list though are:
Things that are finished:
Striped Pierrot
Chemise Gown
Projects to complete:
Blue Cotton English Gown: everything
Pink Pimpernel: refit/revamp, trim
Pearl: embellishment, sleeves
Regency Day Dress: everything
Regency bonnet: cover & trim
Shift: everything
So that makes two re-vamped outfits from last year, but it's part of my London savings program. Waste not, want not! :> Besides they are so different than the first versions it will be cool.
