my CC pics

Here are my CC pics! I had to split them between two accounts to get them to fit for free. Don't really feel like spending money on this at the moment although I may evently. This uplaoding and having thumbnails aoutmatically made for me is pretty cool.

I'll put most on my site eventully but this seemed easiest for the time being. Besides I really dig the slideshow feature. :>

jet lag rambles

Can I just say jet-lag totally sucks!

I always have it worse after traveling east. Silly but true. I was up until 5am last night, up at 3pm and I still don't feel awake. *merh* I did wake up to a brand new wood floor in my bedroom (floor guy came while I was sleeping) which was cool. Now I have to put my room back together though.

This is the bit I hate about traveling, the catching up. I have enjoyed reading all the CC posts and the funny stories retold. I will try to get my thoughts together enough to contribute to the story telling but for now I had an amazing time and am so glad I went.

Hands down the best part was the socializing and when I go again I will definitely focus more time, prep and energy into just playing dress-up and hanging with people, not the classes. I will definitely be back but I don't know about next year (07). Like I was just saying on gildedgarb, if I go this year I have to wait for CC membership too. I'm not sure I can afford it every year anyway, with planes and such it is a big chunk of money. And then there is the possibility of a London trip in the spring. I don't know what to do so I'm just trying not to panic.

I also believe in divine appointments. If there are memberships left when we are able to buy them, then we are suppose to go. If not then, well then it just not meant to be. I hate to think of having to stay home and just read about it next year but I’m mentally preparing myself for that. Like gildedgarb, I know without a shadow of doubt that I was supposed to be there this year - everything just fell into place. So part of me wants to panic but mostly I want to wait and see what happens. It's much more fun that way.

If CC sells out as quickly as everyone says it will perhaps it's time to think about pulling together an LJ alternative. Perhaps on the east coast for a change. It's probably a crazy idea but my mind has been scheming about it since Sunday night. :> I'm so bad! Some research is in order of course so we'll see...
